Recruited from college Andy Sparaco worked for the US subsidiary of the Rank Organization shooting theatrical ads east of the Mississippi. After two years and 600 spot ads he transitioned to New York City as a contract cinematographer for NBC-Visnews, shooting news and advertising films for foreign governments and corporations.

 

Moving  to Los Angeles he performed the same duties. Making  a lateral move he  transitioned to Columbus, Ohio to work at a top advertising agency as a Director/DP creating TV commercials for Federated Department Stores (now Macy’s).

 

He was hired as a TV Commercial director at the  Chicago-based  production company- VizCom. In the next five years he shot a hundred or more national and international commercials for Advertising Agencies in Chicago.

 

As a quick adopter of digital editing, Andy became a paid consultant for Adobe and Discreet Logic (Autodesk). These technological connections allowed him to form his own company – Meta4, Inc.

 

 From 1990 through 2006, Andy’s production team produced over 1500 commercials and hundreds of hours of advertising, marketing, and training   films around the world for advertising  agencies and corporations.

 

Andy has won  twenty two major industry awards including: Clio, Addy,  Mobius and Telly awards.
